I have been working for about a month on this monster, on and off because I lost patience/motivation much too often, but eventually finished a couple a days ago. And imagine my frustration because I didn't have access to a scanner till today.
Anyway, here's something surprising to me, it's probably the first piece I've done I'm actually proud of. Ah, I'm aware there's a gazillion of mistakes in anatomy and shading and I'll probably hate it in a few weeks, but for now I'm happy with it.
It's all the characters of my comic/story Holmes, that I have been working on developing with ~AlexiaMoriarty for almost a year now. I decided to do separate pinups in marker and tried to show through each of them the relationship of the characters.
From left to right: Avery and Diego (the gun is a metaphor, to show off how Avery's the dangerous one in their relationship), Raoul and Natalie, Andrea and Julien, Megan and Adrian, Iris and Jake, Remy and Bailey.
All of them are couples, except for Raoul and Natalie, who are brother and sister. Julien, Remy and Iris are siblings too, and so are Bailey and Diego.

Characters belong to me and Alexia, art's mine, no using or distributing.

This is phenomenal, I love coloring first off it's so vibrant and really does a great job at catching the eyes. Second is all of their clothes, the designs are fantastic they all look very unique and standout in all the best ways possible. Their expressions are also very awesome and lively and I love how much beautiful smoke is in this picture. Over all I think this is a fantastic piece and has to be my current favorite of favorites by you :D

Gosh seriously I don't know how to express how grateful I am of all your sweet comments, I was in a really bad mood about my art lately, and the fact that Holmes - the project I've been working my ass on for more than a year now - is ignored in favour to the few pieces of fanart I have in my gallery. Your comments really cheered me up and gave me some more confidence, to try whip out some more Holmes related illustrations, thanks again <33

I've been trying to comment on this literally since about one minute after it appeared in my messages box.
It is just that awesome.
I love all the poses and expressions and clothing-- each character seems to have such a strong feeling about them, you know? And I love the coloring-- it doesn't strike me as too generic, but it also isn't really vivid and overpowering.
Ugh in other words this is just beautiful.
